Putty Pals is a quirky and whimsical game where you and a buddy bounce, squish, slingshot and fling yourselves in order to solve platformer puzzles. So, grab a friend, pick up your controllers and experiment with tight physics and unique co-op character abilities in a colourful playground. Communication is key, so don’t leave your putty buddy behind or you will never be able to get through the next putty puzzle alone!

Putty Pals is currently being developed with Unity for PC with controller support. Harmonious Games aim to expand Putty Pals to true couch co-op console territory in the future, particularly the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Wii U!

Putty Pals had a humble beginning as a university project, but we soon realised the game's potential for commercial release. We really wanted to make a game we could play with friends sitting on the couch solving puzzles together. We quickly realised we were actually onto something interesting and humorous with the concept of bouncing putty, so we ran with it. If you’ve never heard of bouncing putty before, think of a cool squishy bouncy ball that can change shape. We wanted to play around with how characters made from this weird sciencey material might collaborate to solve crazy puzzles. Through a lot of trial and error, on both the design and programming fronts, we’ve been able to find a Goldilocks balance between physics feel and puzzle design.
